Our vision is to inspire and encourage children with disabilities to realize their highest potential and access equal opportunities in Kenya.
A partner and support system for children with disabilities looking to change their lives in southwestern rural Kenya.
We focus on three key pillars - Education, Advocacy, and Community for an improved quality of life for those with disabilities.
We aim to build a thriving community of children who have been otherwise left behind to increase opportunity, resources, education, and to provide hope.
The B.L. Tezza School for the Deaf feeds over 85 children three meals a day. Out of this tiny tin shed, children receive breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff members who cook in here are often covered with soot due to the need to cook with firewood. Rebuilding the kitchen means better efficiency and healthier work conditions for those who serve the children. Please click the donate button to give to this project.
TOTAL COST $6,000
The B.L. Tezza School has recently drilled a well through gracious donations. However, without plumbing they cannot utilize their water for sustainable agriculture, which feeds the children at the school two days a week. Water is life in Kenya and creates an environment free of waterborne diseases. This is literally life changing and life saving. Please help us complete this project.
TOTAL COST: $3,000
The B.L. Tezza School for the Deaf serves over 75 children in their rural community. Unfortunately, with only two classrooms, these students have multiple classes in one room. By expanding the school and installing an additional two classrooms we can allow learners to spread out and continue learning in a more conducive environment.
TOTAL COST $25,000
The two classrooms at the B.L. Tezza School for the Deaf have become cracked and this poses not only a safety risk of injury, but desks do not sit correctly and it creates a difficult learning environment. To tile each class room will cost approximately $1,000. Please, help us finished these classrooms and make them a brighter place to learn in.
TOTAL COST $1,000
