A partner and support system for children with disabilities looking to change their lives in southwestern rural Kenya.
We focus on three key pillars - Education, Advocacy, and Community for an improved quality of life for those with disabilities.
We aim to build a thriving community of children who have been otherwise left behind to increase opportunity, resources, education, and to provide hope.
While we are assisting students who come to B.L. Tezza School for the Deaf, we realized we are missing an essential part of education; early childhood learning. That's why, with this land purchase, we will be able to start the "Hearts that Hear Early Learning Comprehensive Center". This Pre-K - Grade 2 school will be a comprehensive learning center, with children of all abilities learning besides each other, in full KSL and spoken language. By helping us reach our goal, you are making this a reality for these students.

Through grant funding, the B.L. Tezza School for the Deaf has built two new classrooms. One of these classrooms will be a dual-purpose science laboratory and classroom for grades 6 through 9. Our students have never had the opportunity of a science lab. Students and staff currently need to walk 1.5 miles to another school to complete these lessons. Please help us complete this project.

The B.L. Tezza School for the Deaf serves over 75 children in their rural community. However, not all children we meet can come to our school due to various needs. Through our scholarship program, we give children the opportunity to go to school in a setting that is appropriate for them. This helps children learn both academic and vocational skills to better their future.
